The main goal of the event consists in promoting Laconia as a "Forum of International Environmental, Artistic and Cultural Discourse". That implies a type of "mobility" for the prefecture that is crucial to its development, particularly through the attraction of specialised, and alternative and cultural tourism in particular.

One of the more specialised goals is the gradual unification/coordination of all activities of Laconia and the event's collaboration with the municipalities involved in each case, so that a plan can be generated for the purpose of underlining their local characteristics. Promoting and exploiting all the existing potential and expanding it ultimately aim at improving the local economy's indices.

"Laconia creates a new institution in response not only to the requests of its very own people, but the signs of the times as well: the natural environment and the need for a more aware and responsible stance on the environment, the need for our cultural heritage's preservation and promotion, our debt towards Laconia's rich local culture, the need for a new direction to open the way to Laconia, but from Laconia to the world as well. All the above finds common ground in a new event, for which we have set high standards from the very beginning.
